International Product Manager (Aquaculture)

Work closely with all the De Heus aquaculture business units, with a focus on Asia. Work on global aqua projects together with the global Nutrition and Support team based in Asia and in Nederland. You will play a key role in ensuring nutritional excellence in aquaculture formulations and with a focus on shrimp nutrition, sharing the best practices across business units with your deep understanding of aquaculture market with a focus in Asia.

International Product Manager (Aquaculture)

Job Description:

  • Pro-actively maintain, develop, and upgrade nutritional knowledge by attending company’s training programmes and self-learning.
  • Utilise expertise knowledge to support field product specialists, customers in the day-to-day activities (coordinating role of the job level of the manager).
  • Together with field product specialist /specialists/sales visit customer farms or prospects (especially key accounts) and give technical advice on nutrition and feed management.
  • Support sales team with knowledge about nutrition, feed management, feed portfolio and market information.
  • Collaborate with sales team on seminars.
  • Train technical support teams and sales teams in all aquaculture business units and ensure a high standard.
  • Together with business unit teams develop training portfolios and build technical understanding based on practical solutions for farmers. Provide high standards of ongoing training for the product specialists.
  • Participate in sales meeting and scientific / technical congresses if needed.
  • Communicate nutritional information and trends to rest of organization.


  • MSc degree or similar level through work experience.
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in feed and/or aquaculture market in Asia, with a focus on applied nutrition.
  • Having international exposure in your previous work experiences is a plus.
  • Language: English, and other Asian language is a plus.
